Exciting Video opportunity

RE Westfield Health British Transplant Games – Video Project We are working to develop a campaign to promote the 2015 Westfield Health British Transplant Games and need your help.

We would like to ask you and some of your team members to send a short video to us answering some of the questions below but primarily share on why you enjoy the Games.

These videos will be available via the Games website but will primarily be added to a data flash drive that will be circulated around Transplant units and Team managers to use to promote the Games.

We want people to meet those that are leaders and those that attend the Games and their reasons why. We would like to ask if you would circulate this email to some athletes, parents and team staff, donor families / live donor who will hopefully also submit a short video. We ask that by submitting a video they are giving permission for Transplant Sport, MLS Contracts and all the Games partners to use the video to promote the 2015 Games and future games.

Here’s what we ask you to do: Record a 2-3 minute the video on a mobile phone and film everything holding the camera in landscape. Please record in a quiet but light and bright room.

Try to avoid dark backgrounds and if possible make the background blank. Film head and shoulders. Don’t get too creative! More than one person can be in the film just make sure they are in the landscape frame At the start of your film say your name, your role, your team, e.g. John Brown, Team Manager, Wythenshawe Team.

When you have made the film email it to btg@mls.gb.com if its large please share it via a file sharing system with this email address. Here are a few questions you can answer pick just 2 or 3 and talk around them. You can use some props to make it interesting if you wish and share your medals, t-shirts and memories etc. with others that might be thinking about coming to the Games or supporting it.

What is special about the Games for you, your family, your friends? Why do you get involved in the Transplant Games? What do you most look forward to at the Transplant Games?

What is your favorite memory of the Transplant Games?

How Many medals or Games have you won or attended?

Who would you like to thank for helping you to get to the Games? (Donors, Sponsors, Team Managers, Parents, Hospital etc) The type and how long have you had your transplant? How many transplants have you had?

When did you become a Donor family and who’s memory does the Games celebrate? Which sport event do you think you are going to get a medal in and why? How did you find out about the Games and what was your first Games?

If you want to talk about anything else in your video linked to the Games or Transplant Sport e.g. World Games, National events please do so it would be great to find out more about why people come to the Games.
